Training should be regularly conducted by qualified individuals and should cover, at a minimum, the particular operations that the employee performs and GMP or GLP as it relates to the employee's functions. Training should refer to current GMP requirements, corporate SOPs, instructions and batch protocols.

Records of training should be maintained. Training should be periodically assessed. Adequate laboratory assessments, supplier audits and self inspections of manufacturers are recommended to establish the specific education and training needs througout the supply chain.
